Pressure washers are the fastest way to clean — from auto service to construction. But "how many bar?" alone is misleading; the right machine is defined by the balance of pressure and flow.
Bar or Flow Rate?
- Pressure (bar): The force that breaks dirt loose.
- Flow (l/h): The water that sweeps it away — the real determinant of speed on large areas.
Cold or Hot Water?
- Cold: Sufficient and economical for dust and mud.
- Hot: Essential where oil and grease are involved — hot water dissolves oil, cold only pushes it.
Domestic vs Industrial
The difference is duty cycle and pump material: plastic/aluminium heads for short use, brass heads with ceramic pistons for continuous industrial duty.
Nozzles
- 0°: Very powerful but can cut surfaces.
- 15°–25°: General purpose standard.
- 40°: Delicate surfaces and rinsing.
- Turbo: Best for encrusted dirt.
